LSMSA Alumni Association Participates In Governor Jindal's Campus Visit

LSMSA alumni participated in Governor Jindal's recent visit to the school, expressing appreciation for the school's formative presence in our lives. This was a collaborative effort of the alumni body in support of our alma mater.
The LSMSA Alumni Association collected 165 emails. Each of the twenty-five years of graduating classes had members participating in this project. Letters to the governor shared some of the ways that LSMSA was influential in molding our professional and personal lives. The governor was thanked for his interest in LSMSA and asked to continue the school's unique contributions to Louisiana education when it is time for fiscal decisions.
Kristine Coreil, a member of the class of 1985, presented our collected emails to the governor. Dr. Coreil and LSMSAAA President J.C. Wells ('89) represented the alumni body for the governor's visit.
Preparations for the visit were also a group effort of the alumni. A group of alumni in fields representing graphic design, copywriting, and marketing teamed together to create a visually attractive presentation of the email collection. Shannon Prest Cole ('88), Keith Stark ('88), and Amy Peck ('89) offered their services as a pro bono gift to the Alumni Association.
