Joseph Dunn, Class of 1989, Joins Consulate General of France 01/27/2010 »

I will be joining the staff of the Consulate General of France in New Orleans next Monday, February 1, 2010 as the Attaché Culturel pour la coopération audiovisuelle et artistique. 

In this position, I will be responsible for liaising the French audiovisual and media sectors, as well as performing/visual artists, with opportunities and counterparts in Louisiana. As you can imagine, I am thrilled to work on behalf of the French government to bring this kind of support to Louisiana's cultural landscape.

I will be in touch with you again in the coming months to see about scheduling a meeting with you and Drs. Wood and Malti to discuss how the Consulate might work with LSMSA to provide access to audiovisual and new media resources for your French students.
