May 2010

Done with my first final! Now I have 4 more to go. But the great thing is that I have today and the weekend to study for my finals. That’s a relief. I have enough time for once! I can’t believe this. This year is gonna be over in just a couple of days. Where the HECK did the time go? I feel like this year just flew by.  It makes me sad :(  But just think! All the fun we’re gonna have on spring fling and the ADMISSION OFFICE POOL PARTY! I’M SO READY! A party at Dr. Sharon’s and Mrs. Lisa Cooley’s house! That’s the greatest thing ever! When finals are over I’m gonna have time to spend with my friends without a care in the world.  I’m looking forward to that. And who knows, someone might actually be able to come over to California to see me. Lets hope! Well it’s been a fantastic year, folks.  It’s been tough but we all pulled through.  Only a couple of days until I’m going to be a big bad SENIOR.  And then the party really begins! And then I’ll have to worry about applying to colleges… but we’ll worry about that later :P thanks for tuning in and following days this school year.   I’ll miss everyone at this place like crazy! Love you all! I’ll keep in touch as much as possible.  Have a great summer, guys!  :D

May 2010

Already May 10! This is the last ACTUAL Monday of the school year! Tomorrow is the last day of classes! That doesn’t mean I don’t have work to do though. I still have to finish my Vertebrate Zoology term paper and my British Literature paper on Macbeth.  But after that, it’ll be easy breezy and all I have to worry about are finals! My finals schedule actually worked out pretty decently for me this year.  I think I’m going to have plenty of time to study for each of my tests.  And also enough time to have fun of course! These days are the last days that we have to relax and spend time with our friends before we head off for the summer. I won’t be at LSMSA next year because I am moving with my family to California.  It’s a big move, and I’m going to miss this place like heck, so I’m trying to make the most of these days.  I’m looking forward to some exciting events this week.  Class pictures are going to be taken this week, and the Arts Awards ceremony is going to take place this week as well. On dead day I’m pretty sure that the improv group is going to be holding a fantastic improve show for anyone who is interested in watching. Should be loads of fun.  And after finals, there will be Spring Fling! Lets hope the weather stays nice and hot so we can have fun on the slip and slides outside!  Well, today is going to be a busy day, but once this day is over, I am set.  I’ll let you know how everything goes. Wish me luck on my finals!

April 2010

Hey guys! Wow, I can’t believe that spring break is already over. It definitely went by WAY too fast.  I had such a great time, and I was in desperate need of a break.  I had all the time to watch movies, go out with my friends, and even go swimming! It was super exciting to see my friends from my old school again. I haven’t seen them in a really long time.

I watched two movies in theaters with my friends over the break: Clash of the Titans and Date Night. Clash of the Titans was a really great action movie, but Date Night was by far the funniest movie I have ever seen in my entire life.  I very much recommend that you all go and watch that movie.  I laughed so hard I think at one point in the movie I stopped breathing for like a minute.  Let’s see, I also went to Beaumont, TX to visit a close family friend and he took me on a sight-seeing ride in his private jet! It was so awesome!  I’m definitely aiming to get my flying license when I grow up so I can fly around in a jet for fun.

It was super great to get to see my family after such a long time.  Six straight weeks at school was a bit too much.  I really wish the break was longer, I have no idea where the time went.  But now I’m back, and I’ve already got a lot on my plate. Lots of tests, quizzes, and tech week for the play! The spring repertoire play is showing April 21-24. It’s called See How They Run, and it’s a fantastically hilarious play.  It’s going to be a great show, so you all should come and watch! After the play, this year is going to go by sooner than we know it.  Only a few weeks until school lets out! Summer, here I come! Well, I’ve got to go now.  I’ll talk to you later to fill you in on more school stuff.  BYE!

April 2010

Hey everyone! Just dropping by to let you know how the week is going.
Last Saturday was the LSMSA Prom and it was absolutely fantastic! I had the greatest time.  My friends and I had a really nice picnic in the afternoon, and then we went out to Mariners to have dessert.  We took so many great pictures by the water. It’s a night I will never forget.  The dance went really well, and it seemed so short! Time flies when you’re having fun.  But everything was fine, because there was an equally awesome after party hosted by the sophomore class in the gym after the prom dance.  We danced until 3 in the morning!  I must say, I was dead tired on Sunday. I could hardly move.  But all the students are being rewarded for their hard work (and hard dancing) with Spring Break! Only one more day to go, and then we have school off until April 11.  I’m so excited for the week to end.  Well, I’ve got to go, but I’ll talk to you guys after the break and let you know how it was! BYE!

March 2010

Hey guys! School has been going pretty well lately.  Lots of good grades on tests, and lots of fun extra curricular activities going on as well!  I recently traveled with the Chorale for a chorale competition in Pineville.  We put on a great performance and got an Excellent rating for the overall chorale.  Also, yesterday I went down with the Spanish and French students for the Foreign Language Festival in Hammond at Southeastern Louisiana University.  The drive over there wasn’t all that awesome because we had to wake up at 3:45 to leave for the competition.  Eight hours in the car is not healthy. But the LSMSA kids did an amazing job! I competed in the French II Extemporaneous Speaking category and placed 1st! It was so exciting.  All of the students from LSMSA who competed in French placed at the festival.  LSMSA also got an award for the overall best school in its category.  All in all we had a great time and I’m excited for any other events coming up at school! We’ll I’ve got to go! I’ll see you guys later and fill you in on how school’s going. BYE!

February 2010

Hey guys! Mardi Gras break was absolutely amazing.  I actually headed down to New Orleans to visit my sister at Tulane University.  While I was there, I toured around the school, got to talk to teachers, and had a bit of fun around town.  The parades that weekend were phenomenal.  The crowds were bigger than ever, and absolutely nothing could bring down the spirit in New Orleans since the Saints won the SUPER BOWL!  All in all, it was a great break.

Now that I’m back at school, I’m getting prepared for a lot of upcoming events.  SLAMMT is right around the corner, and I can’t wait to go! I also have a French competition coming up at the end of March.  Wish me luck.  As for my classes, there are a lot of papers and tests I’m preparing for as this 3rd quarter winds down.  I hope all my studying pays off.  That’s all for now, but I’ll keep you updated on how everything is going around here.  BYE!

August 2009

Wassap everyone!  My name is Misha Molani and I’m a returning junior at the Louisiana School.  I was part of the second sophomore class, along with Logan Faust, and I’m so glad that I am a student at this school.  LSMSA has provided me with various different opportunities that I could only dream of at my old school in Leesville, Louisiana.  My focus at LSMSA is in the sciences, but one of my great interests lies in the arts.  I am currently taking Biochemistry, Chorale, French II, Acting I, World Literature, Lifetime Sports, Trigonometry, and an Independent Study in Theater.  This fall semester is wrapping up quickly, and my preparations for finals have begun!  But this week I’m mainly looking forward to attending the Christmas Festival in Natchitoches.  This weekend I also am going to be in a concert with the LSMSA chorale.  Everything should be very exciting.
