Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, John has worked in student affairs since 1996. After receiving his bachelor's degree in general studies from Southeast Missouri State University, he worked for several years in the social services field. John then worked in the residence life programs at McKendree University, Stony Brook University, and Hunter College before joining the staff at LSMSA. In his spare time, John enjoys playing and listening to music, playing tennis, and watching (and yelling at) cable TV news shows. He also cooks up a decent gumbo (for a Yankee).
